Let there be no indignity.
Get a pencil and write all that has been weighing on your mind–all that crap that keeps you from where you want to be onto a piece of paper. Fold that paper in half, then fold again, and again and again until the creases make it impossible to fold. Take another piece of paper and write how you want to feel and what you want to accomplish.
Now place the the two pieces of paper together. It might seem a bit cathartic, but this helps me. Puts things into perspective. All your problems physically look smaller than what you want to accomplish. That, and you got all the thoughts rumbling in your head onto physical paper.
Take action. Either unfold the paper and work on those items bugging you or work from the other paper and do things. Your choice. At least you are making headway.

Good advice, something I should think about doing when I feel the pressure weighing down on me, rather much like right now in fact. It is good to put things into perspective sometimes.
Just discovered your site, the archive of coverage on the old Animerica magazines really bring back memories, I didn’t have a subscription but I bought many of their issues back in the day, I still have them stashed somewhere in my house. Not many of the 90’s issues though, I know then I didn’t even know what anime was, although I remember watching things like Speed Racer, Sailor Moon, Pokemon and Digimon like Saturday morning cartoons. But man, I see some really classic anime there that I eventually grew to love, like Slayers. It’s really nostalgic.
