Bubba Burger – Is Soylent Green a Mainstay of Southern Foods?

April 24, 2012 by Lance Heiskell Leave a Comment

Bubba-Burgers-or-Soylent-Green-for-the-SouthThis is why I love to visit Central Market. You get products like this that you would not find in a Kroger, Tom Thumb or any other corporate chain supermarket.

At first, I thought this would be the perfect product brand to use in a Soylent Green remake filmed in the Deep South. Southern Foods Soylent Green with Bubba Jowls and Cracklins. Mmmmmm…people.

Beef chuck is the neck, shoulder blade and upper arm, characterized as a tough cut of meat with connective tissue.

Tasty! I’ll try the neck burger! Why yes! I’ll have a beef arm pit patty!
